DUBAI // A woman walking home was molested by a pedestrian who touched her breast then walked away.
The 45-year-old Pakistani housewife told Dubai Criminal Court that she was at a market on the night of October 31 last year and was walking to her nearby home when the incident occurred.
“It was nearly 11pm when I saw two men walking in the opposite direction,” she said.
“When they came face-to-face with me, one of them stretched his arm and touched my breast. I screamed at him, so he ran. I screamed at people nearby, who caught him, then I called police.”
Pakistani defendant FA, 22, was found to be drunk at the time. Prosecutors said that he confessed to touching the woman during interrogation.
He confessed in court as well and awaits a verdict on March 11.
