Dangerous pets draw big fines in Sharjah

The Ruler of Sharjah has ordered people found in possession of dangerous predators to be fined Dh100,000 and have the animal taken away by Sharjah’s Environment and Protected Areas Authority.

The order excludes licensed public and private zoos, scientific research centres and universities, the state news agency Wam reported.
