Rapist lured woman to his hotel room, Dubai court told

A rapist lured victim to hotel room by claiming there was a party going on, hears court.

DUBAI // A rapist lured a woman to his hotel room by claiming he was hosting a party, the Criminal Court heard today.

But when the woman, a Filipina, 26, arrived at the room in the Lotus Hotel she found she was the only one there.

"He forced me to drink alcohol and I soon lost focus and the next day I found myself naked in bed," she recalled.

AA, 42, a manager from Jordan, was charged with rape.
