DUBAI // A prisoner accused of starting a fire in Al Qusais Police Station has been acquitted by the Criminal Court.
SA, 27, holding a Comoros Islands passport, told the court that another prisoner AH, an Emirati, who was sharing the cell started the fire by setting a mattress alight.
The court cleared the Comoros Islander. The Emirati prisoner has since died.
