Two insurance companies have clashed in court after a woman drove into her husband’s car.
The wrangle came after the woman’s insurer paid the cost of repairing the damaged car.
It then filed a case saying the husband’s insurer should repay them Dh75,675 because the two cars were owned by him.
The husband’s insurer was ordered by a Dubai court to repay the amount but the Appeals Court overturned the verdict.
The plaintiff appealed again, to the Court of Cassation, which ruled the company insuring the vehicle that caused the accident should not have to pay.
