Without reading a caption, and at first glance, it’s difficult to make out what’s happening in this photo. The woman on the left and the man on the right are obviously trying to navigate something through the exit of a building. But what is it? The adage “a picture is worth a thousand words” certainly rings true for most images, but for some, without added information, a photo needs help to explain to the viewer what it’s actually showing. In this case, staff photographer Antonie Robertson captured a performer dressed in a Transformers costume who is trying to leave through an exit after a photo shoot at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates.
