Sport photography is often about being in the right place at the right time, but occasionally a photographer can use techniques and composition to evoke a sense of movement and excitement sometimes lost in a still image. Here, Chris has used panning – a combination of slow shutter speed and camera movement – to demonstrate the speed and drama of a horse race.
