An investigation has begun after a man’s body was found in a residential building in Sharjah.
Police found the corpse of M S, a 67-year-old Emirati, in his home after neighbours complained about a foul smell. He had been dead for several days, Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister newspaper of The National, reported.
The body has been taken to a laboratory for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. It will be handed to the next of kin of the deceased upon completion.
