For Eid Baroud, it was a dream come true, in his first game in charge of Emirate. The Emirati coach led the newly-promoted Ras al Khaimah club to a sensational upset to send red-hot favourites Al Wahda out of the President's Cup after a stoppage time penalty from the Moroccan Nabil Daoudi gave them a 1-0 semi-final win at Zayed Sports City on Friday. "I told my players to just go out there and do the best," said Baroud. "It was always a massive task against Wahda. They are one of the best teams in the country and to win against them was a dream come true. I can't express my delight. I am over the moon."

And the Wahda coach Josef Hickersberger said: "Emirate scored from one only chance they got where as we controlled the game but couldn't score in the 90 minutes. It is disappointing result for us." Emirate will play Al Shabab in April's final after they beat Al Jazira 3-0 on penalties after a 0-0 draw last night.
