Aldar Academies and Mubadala hosted a National Day celebration at Zayed Sports City on Sunday.
The event, called Pride of the Nation, saw thousands of students from six Aldar Academies’ schools tell the story of the UAE’s history and heritage through a mix of poetry, song and dance in the presence of dignitaries from the UAE and Abu Dhabi Government, Aldar, Mubadala and staff and parents from the Aldar Academies Community.
Speaking on the occasion, Nilay Ozral, chief executive of Aldar Academies said, “Students at Aldar Academies represent over 100 countries and while we recognise the diversity at our schools and a future shaped by our children, we are also committed to celebrating the UAE’s heritage with our students to teach them the country’s history.”
