Abu Dhabi Crown Prince visits family in Bani Yas

ABU DHABI // Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed visited an bin Ablan Al Mazrouei's family home yesterday in Bani Yas built using traditional methods.

Saif Mohammed bin Ablan Al Mazrouei said the visit from the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces "reflects the authentic tradition of communication between the leadership and citizens throughout the UAE", reported Wam, the state news agency.

During the visit, Sheikh Mohammed saw the elements of UAE traditional architecture used in designing the home, which was built using local materials.

The materials used are environmentally sustainable and meet the demands of the climate in the region.

Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Air Vice-Marshal Pilot Ahmed bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, the Undersecretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, and Staff Major General Eisa Said Al Mazrouei.

The Mazrouei family prayed to God to preserve UAE's security and progress under the leadership of the President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.
