Almost 50 employees of Sharjah Police will receive a raise under the orders of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.

The Ruler of Sharjah on Wednesday called for an amendment of the salary scale and special allowances for employees who have Emirati mothers from different emirates.

The new decision will bring their salaries and benefits in line with the rest of the police staff.

Police said 47 members of the force, with different ranks, would benefit from the decision.

Maj Gen Saif Al Shamsi, commander-in-chief of Sharjah Police, thanked Sheikh Dr Sultan for his continued support and generous gesture.
