4-year-old girl dies in fall from 15th floor Sharjah apartment

Girl's father being held for questioning after unsupervised child fell from window of 15th floor apartment.

SHARJAH // The father of a 4-year-old Arab girl who fell from the window of a 15th floor apartment on Saturday is being held for questioning, police say.

Police said the child died immediately after falling and that her body was taken to Kuwait Hospital.

A spokesman for Sharjah Police said the incident occurred in the All Qassimiya area after the child was left home alone.

Investigations are continuing.
