ABU DHABI // Police seized just under 2.5 kilos of heroin in two separate drug busts.
In the first case, 209 capsules filled with heroin were discovered during a raid in Mussaffah Industrial Area. Thirty-six capsules were found in the second bust, which took place in Mafraq City, said Col Dr Rashid Borshid, Head of CID.
In both instances, police were led to the dealers after receiving tip-offs, said Lt Col Sultan Al Darmaki, Head of CID’s Anti Drug Section.
Between both busts, four Asian suspects were arrested after selling the drugs to undercover officers from the Anti Narcotics Department, and all confessed to their crimes during investiagtions.
