The UAE’s hopes of clinching the Asian Cup ended on Tuesday when they lost 2-0 to hosts Australia in the semi-final.

While the UAE will not feature in the showpiece, the team do have the chance to sign off an already successful tournament with a win when they face Iraq in the third-place play-off on Friday.

Here is a selection of images from the team training in Newcastle ahead of the game. All photos courtesy UAE FA.
