It has been a hectic week in the world of sport with the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Cristiano Ronaldo playing major roles.

Mixed martial arts returned to Abu Dhabi when UFC 242 was held at The Arena on Yas Island. It was headlined by Nurmagomedov’s submission victory against Dustin Poirier in their lightweight unification bout.

Portugal attacker Ronaldo scored four times in his 160th appearance for his country – his second hat-trick in as many matches – as his team thrashed Lithuania 5-1 in Vilnius.
