Former world No 1 Andy Murray says he made his decision to compete at the Queen's Club Championships the day before the draw was made, despite only declaring his intention with half-an-hour to spare.
After spending 11 months on the sidelines following hip surgery, the two-time Wimbledon champion said he just wanted to make sure he felt well enough to take part before putting himself forward.
Organisers announced his inclusion in the Fever-Tree Championships on Saturday ahead of the draw for the tournament which has the strongest line-up in its 128-year history with 15 of the world's top 30 taking part.
Murray, who has been sidelined since playing at Wimbledon last July, came through a practice session in London on Friday.
This year's Wimbledon Championships begins on July 2.
