The National Sport front page on Sunday, September 27 is divided into three parts, featuring Daniil Kvyat’s crash at the Japanese Grand Prix, Wales’ stunning win against England in the Rugby World Cup, and Tottenham’s defeat of Manchester City in the Premier League.

Red Bull Racing’s Kvyat suffered the horror crash during Saturday’s qualifying session, although the driver managed to walk away from the accident unscathed. Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton went on to win Sunday’s race with teammate Nico Rosberg second.

Also taking place on Saturday was a crunch Rugby World Cup match which saw Wales fight back from 10 points down to win in dramatic style against England to leave the tournament hosts’ campaign hanging by a thread.

Earlier in the day, Tottenham also managed to overcome a deficit to emerge victorious, fighting back from 1-0 down against City to win 4-1, although poor decisions regarding two offside goals have dominated the post-match discussion.
