Following the victory, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said Sanchez had, "the attributes of a fighter, and a quality, talent player".
It was a buoyant day for Arsenal, who got a fit-looking Theo Walcott back and took the three points to go level on points at 17 with third-placed reigning champions Manchester City.
Of Sanchez, Wenger added, “Since he has played through the middle, he looks more goal dangerous because he is in full confidence, is physically strong, likes to take people on as well and makes good runs,” Wenger explained.”
