Wesley Sneijder expects to sign a new contract with Inter Milan this month.
The Holland international has been in talks with the Serie A outfit since June with regards to an extension.
The 26-year-old winger is set to prolong his stay by two years, until June 2015.
"This is my club," Sneijder told Corriere dello Sport. "I am very happy here and in 15 days' time I will complete the deal for my renewal."
According to local media reports, under the new deal, Sneijder will earn six million euros per annum.
Sneijder joined Inter from Real Madrid in the summer of 2009.
Meanwhile, Inter president Massimo Moratti has denied reports the club have made a move to sign Real Madrid star Kaka.
The Brazil international has been linked with a return to Serie A since the summer, with Inter reportedly keen to acquire his services.
When asked about Kaka, Moratti said: "We have never entered in any negotiations for the Brazilian."
The 28-year-old moved to Madrid last year from Inter's city rivals AC Milan but has struggled with injuries during his time in the Spanish capital.
He is currently sidelined with a right knee problem and is not expected to return to action until December.

His life in brief: Born in a village near Galilee, he lived in exile for most of his life and started writing poetry after high school. He was arrested several times by Israel for what were deemed to be inciteful poems. Most of his work focused on the love and yearning for his homeland, and he was regarded the Palestinian poet of resistance. Over the course of his life, he published more than 30 poetry collections and books of prose, with his work translated into more than 20 languages. Many of his poems were set to music by Arab composers, most significantly Marcel Khalife. Darwish died on August 9, 2008 after undergoing heart surgery in the United States. He was later buried in Ramallah where a shrine was erected in his honour.
