Senegal striker scores hat-trick as Baniyas win 4-2, while Al Dhafra stun Al Jazira.

A late strike by Amara Diane stunned Al Jazira last night as Al Dhafra beat the Abu Dhabi club 2-1. The promoted side took the lead five minutes into the second half through Makhete Diop and held that advantage for 15 minutes before Ibrahim Diaky levelled the scores from the penalty spot. But Diane scored the winner with just two minutes of normal time left on the clock to preserve Dhafra's unbeaten home record.

Andre Senghor scored a hat-trick to lead Baniyas to a 4-2 victory over Al Shaab last night. The Senegal striker got the home side off the mark in the 11th minute before Nick Carle double their advantage seven minutes before the break. Senghor got his second six minutes after the interval and completed his hat-trick just before the final whistle. Michael N'dri scored both Shaab's goals in the final 20 minutes of the match.
