UFC chiefs are attempting to lure world heavyweight champion boxer Anthony Joshua to the sport with a record breaking $500 million multi-fight deal.

A report in The Telegraph claims that Dana White, president of the mixed martial arts promotion, is to attend Joshua's title fight with Joseph Parker in Cardiff, Wales this week. White intends to meet with Joshua's team for negotiations whilst in the UK.

White has previously said that Joshua, who is undefeated at 20-0 had “changed the face of boxing”. He reportedly wants Joshua to be the face of Zuffa Boxing, the UFC’s new boxing brand.

The eye-watering half billion dollar deal would make him the UK's richest boxer ever.

The UFC interest in boxing is no secret, the franchise played a major role in last year's record breaking fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Conor McGregor.
