Daniel Bryan has not fought for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship since he had to forfeit the title in June 2014 due to injury.

But Bryan will have the chance to regain the title he never lost in the ring on November 2 at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia when he goes up against current champion AJ Styles.

Bryan pinned The Miz in a No 1 contender's match at Super Show-Down in Melbourne on Saturday to secure the title shot.

The match is the latest addition to the card for WWE's return to Saudi at the King Fahd International Stadium.

The Greatest Royal Rumble took place in Jeddah in April and was the first event in a 10-year deal between the WWE and the General Sports Authority, and the Sports Entertainment company.

Also already confirmed for the event is a triple threat match for the WWE Universal title. Roman Reigns will defend his championship against Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman.

The first ever WWE World Cup will be also held on the night, but details on that event are yet to be announced by WWE.

The event will be shown live on the WWE Network and also be available on pay-per-view.

Ticket information and regional broadcast information will be announced nearer the time.
