The promoted side Kalba have four points from 11 Pro League matches, but they are the only unbeaten side after seven rounds of the Etisalat Cup, with two victories and five draws. Jorvan Vieira, the new coach, will be looking for his side to move closer to the top of Group B away to Sharjah on Saturday.

Oliveira likely to be available

Ricardo Oliveira, the Brazilian striker, is expected to be available to the coach Abel Braga when Al Jazira are home to Al Ahli on Saturday. Oliveira scored eight goals for Jazira last season before suffering a leg injury. He was loaned to Sao Paulo for the first half of this season and was recently recalled by Jazira.

Wahda still have trophies in their sights

A revived Al Wahda could move closer to the top of Group A with an away victory over Al Dhafra tomorrow. Wahda are on eight points; Dhafra and Dubai are tied second with nine. Wahda are 14 points behind Jazira in the Pro League, but the Etisalat Cup remains within reach, as does the President's Cup.
