Wales captain Ashley Williams and Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel adorn The National Sport on Friday, July 1 ahead of their showdown in the Euro 216 quarter-finals.
Wales, led by their star man, Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, are the last remaining British team in the tournament after Northern Ireland’s group stage exit, Republic of Ireland’s last 16 defeat to France, and England’s shock loss to Iceland at the same stage.
Belgium, meanwhile, have shaken off their opening defeat to Italy, and have built up momentum, which culminated in the 4-0 thrashing of Hungary in the last 16 stage.
Ian Hawkey previews the match from a Belgian perspective, placing his focus on Axel Witsel, Belgium's divisive yet indispensable midfielder.
From the other side, Richard Jolly's preview looks at Wales, who have earned the right to gloat as Britain's best national side.
