Goalkeeper: Artur Boruc (Bournemouth)

A penalty save from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a series of other stops earned Bournemouth a surprise point at Old Trafford.

Right-back: Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur)

Kept up his fine form with another display of pace and power on the right flank, surging forward to help Spurs beat Everton.

Centre-back: Ryan Shawcross (Stoke City)

After a defensive horror show at White Hart Lane, the captain helped Stoke keep a clean sheet comfortably against Middlesbrough.

Centre-back: Mamadou Sakho (Crystal Palace)

Two games, two clean sheets, two wins. The on-loan Liverpool defender has made quite an impact since coming into the team.

Left-back: Christian Fuchs (Leicester City)

Has returned to his best with a vengeance in the last two games and his fine goal helped Leicester come from behind to beat Hull City.

Right midfield: Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Showed he is a big-game player again with Liverpool’s second goal as he tormented Arsenal with his speed and movement.

Centre midfield: Adam Lallana (Liverpool)

Others got the goals but Lallana led the way for Liverpool with enthusiastic pressing and sharp movement to unlock Arsenal.

Centre midfield: David Silva (Manchester City)

Played a part in both City goals at the Stadium of Light, with a particularly penetrative pass to set up Leroy Sane for the second.

Left midfield: Nathan Redmond (Southampton)

Was electric as he scored twice in the surprise thriller of the weekend as Southampton struck four times at Vicarage Road.

Centre forward: Fernando Llorente (Swansea City)

A fourth double of the season, including an injury-time decider, illustrated his aerial menace and how key the Spaniard is to Swansea.

Centre forward: Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Took his tally to eight goals in three Sundays to defeat Everton and become the Premier League’s top scorer this season.
