Stick or twist? That is the vital question for clubs across Europe during the January transfer window.

An injection of fresh talent could be just what is needed to stave off relegation or to push for a European qualifying place come May.

Or, in the case of Inter Milan, how about signing a 34-year-old full-back-cum-winger from the Premier League in a bid to boost your Serie A title chances. Let's not write off Ashley Young just yet.

For Spanish giants Real Madrid, the transfer formula appears simple - young, Brazilian and full of potential, while other clubs are using the loan market to plug a gap or two.

With just a few days of the window left, Christian Eriksen's long goodbye from Tottenham has finally drawn to a close as he's signed for Inter Milan.
