He hit the woodwork twice and saw a last minute effort spectacularly hooked off the line by Kyle Walker.
He was however partly at fault for Raheem Sterling's first half goal, as he failed to challenge Kevin De Bruyne on the side of the penalty area, allowing the Belgian to cross for Sterling to net.
