Liverpool emerged victorious in the legends match against the Rangers with a 3-2 verdict at Ibrox on Saturday.

Luis Garcia, Patrik Berger and Emile Heskey scored in the first-half to all but seal the match in Glasgow with more than 30,000 fans in attendance.

Ian Rush managed a Liverpool side that had Jamie Carragher, Dirk Kuyt, Glen Johnson and Rangers first-team manager Gerrard, who played for both sides.

For Rangers, Kris Boyd and Peter Lovenkrands found the back of the net.
