Al Nasr have made an early statement of intent in their bid to challenge for the Arabian Gulf League title next season after announcing the signing of French midfielder Yohan Cabaye on a two-year deal.
The French midfielder had been with Premier League side Crystal Palace for the past three seasons but had been out of contract with the London club when the past campaign ended in May.
Nasr announced the deal to bring Cabaye on board on Twitter on Tuesday and the Dubai club also announced he will wear the No 7 shirt.
Cabaye, 32, had previously also played for Lille, Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain and has been capped 48 times by France, playing at World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
Nasr finished fourth in the AGL last season, 16 points behind champions Al Ain.
