Eden Hazard believes he has played his last game for Chelsea and called winning the Europa League on Wednesday in Baku "goodbye" to the London club as he seems set for a move to Real Madrid.

The Belgian scored twice in the 4-1 win over fellow Premier League side Arsenal and then said he felt that had had been his swansong for the club he has been with since 2012.

In an on-pitch interview post-match, the 28 year old said: "I think it is goodbye, but in football you never know.

"Now maybe it is time for a new challenge."

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri admitted he had known Hazard's departure in the summer was likely and said: "I knew that Eden wanted to leave of course.

"But as I said in every press conference I want to respect his decision."

Wednesday's success gave Hazard a sixth trophy with Chelsea. It is a second Europa League victory to add to two Premier League wins and he also has one FA Cup and one League Cup winners' medal.
