Alvaro Morata has finally had the chance to take a look around his new home stadium after the Spanish striker posted pictures on Instagram of him and his wife touring Stamford Bridge.

Morata, 24, moved to the Premier League champions in a club record deal reported to be worth £70million (Dh337.2m) last month, and immediately after completing his switch, jetted out to Singapore to join his new teammates on their pre-season tour.

The former Real Madrid forward is now back from Asia ahead of the new season and took the chance to walk around the stadium he will be playing inside for much of the season.

Morata captioned his collection of Instagram photos "Couldn't wait to meet you" in reference to Stamford Bridge.

He can be seen pitchside with his new wife Alice, to whom he got married this summer prior to his move to Chelsea, as well as in the stands and outside the stadium.

Morata will be tasked with leading Chelsea's attack this season as the London club look to defend the Premier League title.
