Chelsea and Atletico Madrid train inside Wanda Metropolitano ahead of Champions League clash - in pictures

In one of the most highly-anticipated matches of this Uefa Champions League week, Premier League champions Chelsea take on Primera Liga side Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening.

After a 6-0 stroll against Azerbaijan's Qarabag last time out, Chelsea face a far sterner test against Atletico - the 2014 and 2016 finalists. A win for Chelsea will put them five points clear of Atletico, who drew their opening match away to Roma.

Ahead of the contest, both sides took to the pitch inside the Wanda Metropolitano stadium to run through their paces.
