Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi attended Day 1 of the 10th edition of the Dubai International Sports Conference on Sunday where he met Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.

Messi is in the UAE for the Globe Soccer Awards, held in conjunction with the Dubai International Sports Conference, where he is set to be awarded their Player of the Year.
