Barcelona forward and captain Lionel Messi joined his teammates for a final run out ahead of the highly-anticipated clasico against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The match takes place at Barcelona's Camp Nou against the backdrop of high political tension, with thousands of protesters expected to take to the area around the ground in support of Catalan independence.
For Messi and teammates including Luis Suarez, Antoine Griezmann and Gerard Pique, Tuesday was all about fine-tuning tactics at the Joan Gamper Sports City training ground ahead of Madrid's visit.
Messi is the all-time leading scorer in clasicos with 26 goals.
Barca and Real are first and second in La Liga on 35 points after 16 games.

What is graphene?
Graphene is extracted from graphite and is made up of pure carbon.
It is 200 times more resistant than steel and five times lighter than aluminum.
It conducts electricity better than any other material at room temperature.
It is thought that graphene could boost the useful life of batteries by 10 per cent.
Graphene can also detect cancer cells in the early stages of the disease.

Ziina users will be able to use the app to help relief efforts in Beirut, which has been left reeling after an August blast caused an estimated $15 billion in damage and left thousands homeless. Ziina has partnered with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to raise money for the Lebanese capital, co-founder Faisal Toukan says. “As of October 1, the UNHCR has the first certified badge on Ziina and is automatically part of user's top friends' list during this campaign. Users can now donate any amount to the Beirut relief with two clicks. The money raised will go towards rebuilding houses for the families that were impacted by the explosion.”

Sukuk explained
Sukuk are Sharia-compliant financial certificates issued by governments, corporates and other entities. While as an asset class they resemble conventional bonds, there are some significant differences. As interest is prohibited under Sharia, sukuk must contain an underlying transaction, for example a leaseback agreement, and the income that is paid to investors is generated by the underlying asset. Investors must also be prepared to share in both the profits and losses of an enterprise. Nevertheless, sukuk are similar to conventional bonds in that they provide regular payments, and are considered less risky than equities. Most investors would not buy sukuk directly due to high minimum subscriptions, but invest via funds.
