Premier League transfer deadline day in August rarely disappoints.

Probably only half the deals hyped in the weeks leading up to the day actually happen and that was the case again here.

But there was still plenty of drama. David Luiz made a last-gasp move from Chelsea to Arsenal, Romelu Lukaku finally got his exit from Manchester United and Alex Iwobi is now an Everton player.

Arguably the feel-good move of the day was Andy Carroll returning to his home-town club Newcastle United, while there were plenty of loan deals that took place.
