Following the latest round of Premier League matches, Richard Jolly selects his team of the week.

Goalkeeper: Ben Foster (West Bromwich Albion)

Marked his return to Old Trafford with three fine saves to deny Manchester United victory and earn West Brom a surprise point.

Right-back: Craig Cathcart (Watford)

His fellow defender Miguel Britos got the goal to beat Sunderland but Cathcart helped keep David Moyes’ side quiet in a much-needed win.

Centre-back: Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur)

Moved into midfield as part of an inspired reshuffle from Mauricio Pochettino and scored the crucial opener in the win at Burnley.

Centre-back: Mamadou Sakho (Crystal Palace)

A colossus at the back in Palace’s surprise victory at Chelsea. It is no coincidence they have won all four games he has played.

Left-back: Andrew Robertson (Hull City)

The Scot’s first Premier League goal was both well-timed and well taken, an equaliser as they came from behind to beat West Ham United.

Right midfield: Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Once again, the man for the big occasion. Mane scored in a second Merseyside derby this season with a terrific solo effort.

Centre midfield: Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City)

Played the pass of the weekend with his superb first-time ball to send Leroy Sane clear to score the opener at Arsenal.

Centre midfield: Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City)

A thunderbolt brought his first Premier League goal and set up victory over Stoke City, Leicester’s fifth successive win.

Left midfield: Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool)

Returned to his best with a vengeance, scoring a glorious goal and setting up Divock Origi’s strike against Everton.

Centre forward: Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)

Produced a devastating display of counter-attacking, scoring an equaliser and setting up Christian Benteke’s winner at Chelsea.

Centre forward: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Criticised for not scoring against the top Premier League sides this season, he now has predatory goals against Liverpool and Arsenal.
