Five NFL games to watch: Giants v Rams in London, Vikings v Eagles, Patriots v Steelers

It is the seventh week of the NFL season and here is a look at the main match-ups taking place over the next two days. Start times UAE.

• New York Giants (3-3) v Los Angeles Rams (3-3), Sunday, 5.30pm

The second London game of the season is the first NFL game ever at Twickenham. The rugby stadium gets the pleasure of playing host to two mediocre teams, who are both 3-3 this season.

• Minnesota Vikings (5-0) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-2), Sunday, 9pm

Philadelphia have lost two straight after winning their first three and now have to play the NFL’s last remaining unbeaten team, who are coming off a bye week. Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz, coming off his first poor start, will face the NFL’s stingiest scoring defence.

• New England Patriots (5-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2), Monday, 12.25am

Ben Roethlisberger’s injury takes some of the lustre off this clash. In his place will be Landry Jones, who in four seasons has only made two starts. New England are rolling with a fully healthy Rob Gronkowski (above) and Tom Brady looking as good as ever at age 39.

• Seattle Seahawks (4-1) at Arizona Cardinals (3-3), Monday, 4.30am

Arizona have shown signs of life in winning two straight following a disappointing 1-3 start. They can get back in the NFC West race with a win over first-place Seattle. The Cardinals, though, have yet to beat the Seahawks at home since coach Bruce Arians’s arrival in 2013.

• Houston Texans (4-2) at Denver Broncos (4-2), Tuesday, 4.30am

Quarterback Brock Osweiller has struggled for the Texans, so the Broncos are likely not regretting letting him leave in free agency to join Houston in March. Still, both teams are in first place, and Osweiller gets the chance to turn around his season at the expense of the slumping defending champions. Denver have lost two straight after winning their first four games.
