Final spots available for Mubadala Community Cup

Registration will close for the Mubadala Community Cup on Thursday, and organisers are encouraging tennis players across the UAE to act quickly to fill the remaining spots.

The free, open amateur tourmament is the largest in the UAE and open to players eight and above. Those who advance through the tournament, which starts November 7 in Abu Dhabi and November 14 in Dubai, will earn one of 60 spots to atttend a coaching clinic withe one of the stars arriving for the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in January.

Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Stan Wawrinka, Gael Monfils and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga are slated for this year’s event.

Players can sign up at the Mubadala tennis website, mubadalawtc.com/community/registration.

The age groups will include Under-10, U12, U14, U16, adults mixed doubles and coaches. All who sign up are guaranteed at least two matches by the round robin format.
