Starting today, the very easy process of snapping a photograph could very easily land you a round of golf with the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose or Martin Kaymer.

Organisers for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship announced on Monday that, in commemorating the 10th anniversary of the tournament, fans are being asked to post photos to social media with the hashtag #ADUnexpected – with the best of the lot earning one photography buff a spot in the tournament's Pro-Am tournament.

Fans can post their entries to the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship Facebook page (facebook.com/adgolfchamp), Twitter (@ADGolfChamps), or Instagram (adgolfchamps) accounts.

“There have been many special moments along the way, and we are really looking forward to seeing what fans have captured over the years,” said Sultan Al Dhaheri, the acting executive director of tourism at the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, in a press release.

The pro-am tournament will be held on Wednesday, January 14 before the tournament runs January 15-18.

The photo competition runs until January 3.
