Kings XI Punjab

130-9 in 20 overs (Wriddhiman Saha 42, George Bailey 22; Trent Boult 3-19)

David Warner led the way for Sunrisers Hyderabad with the bat before Trent Boult did the damage with the ball to hand Kings XI Punjab a 20-run defeat in Mohali.

Hyderabad were put in to bat by the home side and it was a decision that backfired as Warner struck 58 runs off 41 balls to set a target of 151.

Punjab failed to gather any momentum as Boult picked up three wickets, including that of Wriddhiman Saha (42), as Hyderabad picked up the points.

Kings XI remain bottom of the league table having won two and lost five of their opening seven matches.

Hyderabad, meanwhile, remain in mid-table with three wins and four losses.
