David Simcock is weighing up the options for Dream Ahead

Trainer is deciding between two races for the Sprint Cup winner's next outing.

Dream Ahead, the Emirati-owned sprinter, is being targeted for one of two races next month after he added to his glowing reputation with a narrow victory in impressive company at the weekend.

The July Cup winner, who is owned by Khalifa bin Dasmal, put a disappointing run in France behind him by coming out on top in a thrilling three-way finish in the Sprint Cup at Haydock, England, with Bated Breath beaten by a nose into second and the unlucky Hoof It just a head farther away in third.

David Simcock, the trainer, will now weigh up the options for the son of Diktat, who cost bin Dasmal - the owner of the Dubai-based Bin Dasmal Group - £36,000 (Dh216,000).

"We'll consider two options for him - the Prix de la Foret (October 2) in France and the British Champions Series Sprint (October 15) at Ascot," Simcock said.

"He seems fine this [yesterday] morning. He went out for a pick of grass and seems very pleased with himself."

Meanwhile, Angus Gold, the racing manager for Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, feels the future is bright for Sajwah following her Listed-race victory at Salisbury on Thursday.

After winning at Warwick on her racecourse debut, the youngster looked to have her limitations exposed when she stepped up to Pattern company.

However, there was plenty to like about her success at Warwick and Gold feels the filly is only now finding her feet.

"She's a big filly and it might all have come plenty quick enough for her earlier in the year," Gold said.

"She's tall and scopey and she has been growing all the time. … it was nice to see her run straight, settle well in front and win nicely.
