Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid keep up the pressure on Barcelona in Primera Liga title chase

Real Madrid responded to Barcelona’s earlier win over Valencia by defeating Malaga 3-1 to keep the deficit on their Primera Liga title rivals to two points.

Sergio Ramos gave Madrid the lead on 24 minutes at the Bernabeu but the home crowd were made to wait until 20 minutes from time before Madrid doubled their lead.

However, the breathing space was short lived as Malaga striker Juanmi nodded home less than a minute later to make it 2-1.

Ronaldo made sure the three points stayed in Madrid with a tap-in in injury time.
