It isn't all work, work, work for Real Madrid during their stint in the UAE for the Club World Cup.

Sightings of the European champions outside of their training facilities and hotel base at the Four Seasons on Abu Dhabi's Al Maryah Island have been hard to come by this week.

But captain Sergio Ramos took to social media on Thursday to show him visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the capital and also the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

He showed this image to his 28.9 million followers on his Instagram account with the message: "A unique place. Respect and admiration. Thank you for the warm welcome and support."

He then followed it up with a video showing the inside of the mosque with its extraordinary architecture.

Ramos and his teammates enjoyed success on the pitch last night when they ran out 3-1 winners over Kashima Antlers in the semi-final.

Gareth Bale scored a stunning hat-trick to book a place in Saturday's final against the host nation's Al Ain, who beat River Plate in their semi-final.

Ramos irked Arab football fans during the Champions League final in May when he was involved in an incident which saw Liverpool's Egyptian star player Mohamed Salah forced off with a shoulder injury. The Madrid defender was accused of deliberately trying to hurt Salah, who almost missed the World Cup in the summer as a result.

All was forgiven at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium last night however, as Ramos was given a warm reception from the fans along with his teammates.

Madrid were back in training this evening ahead of the final on Saturday.
