BRUSSELS // Belgium’s friendly against Portugal next week has been moved to the Portuguese city of Leiria from Brussels because of the deadly attacks.

The Belgian federation says on Wednesday it reached agreement with its Portuguese counterpart, hours after the match was called off.

It was scheduled for next Tuesday at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.

At least 34 people were killed in Tuesday’s bombings at the Brussels airport and metro, while more than 200 were wounded.

The country is at its highest terrorism alert level, meaning there’s a risk of an imminent attack.

Belgium, one of the favorites to win this summer’s European Championship, has cancelled training for the friendly since the attacks.
