Al Jazira came from a goal down to beat Qatar’s Al Ahli 5-1 in a warm-up match in Doha on Tuesday.

The Arabian Gulf League side trailed their hosts after just five minutes but responded when two of the club’s new foreign recruits — Thiago Neves and Jefferson Farfan — combined to set Mirko Vucinic up for the equaliser.

Jazira coach Abel Braga would have been even more pleased with Farfan’s second-half contribution, notably a goal to make it 2-1.

Vucinic scored his second of the game before Ali Mabkhout’s double sealed an emphatic win.
