There’s some rather risqué snaps of Selena Gomez doing the rounds on Instagram at the moment, but the pop star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles the other day, looking the picture of innocence.
She was wearing a Coach Rexy sweater paired with a white turtleneck, frayed jeans, pink-lensed glasses and a white Coach Rogue bag. Rexy has become something of a Coach mascot of late – the toothy, green-and-yellow dinosaur has made numerous appearances on Coach products over recent seasons, and has even inspired entire capsule collections.
Selena Gomez was named as the new face of Coach brand at the end of December. As part of the new partnership, she will star in the brand’s fall 2017 fashion campaign, and will collaborate with the brand’s creative director Stuart Vevers on a special design project. Gomez will also join the Coach Foundation in its support of Step Up — an American organisation that works to empower teenaged girls from under-resourced backgrounds.
“I am so excited to work with Coach and love the clothes and accessories designed by Stuart Vevers,” she says. “I am especially looking forward to getting to know the Coach team as well as becoming involved in the Foundation’s support of Step Up. On top of all that, collaborating on a piece with Stuart for next fall makes this beyond special to me,” said Gomez at the time of the announcement.
