Intravenous beauty treatments have been around in the US and UK for some time but this month, The Elixir Clinic has brought them to the UAE. Dubbed the VitaDrip, a range of 12 infusions targeting specific health and wellness-related issues are now available at select venues in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, including branches of CosmeSurge and Emirates Hospital. A dedicated clinic is expected to open in the capital later this year, along with another branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
Infusion varieties include the VIP Elixir VitaDrip, which contains a blend of vitamins and minerals aimed at boosting the immune system and the Adrenal Fatigue VitaDrip, geared towards improving thyroid function and easing chronic fatigue.
The Elixir Clinic describes its VitaDrips as safe and natural detox methods for sustainable long-term well-being, adding that only trained nurses carry out treatments at their international locations.
Sessions take on average 30 to 40 minutes and prices start from around Dh1,200.

Sheikh Dhiyab bin Isa (ruled 1761-1793) Built Qasr Al Hosn as a watchtower to guard over the only freshwater well on Abu Dhabi island.
