Kite Beach Fitness Village was at the heart of it all yesterday, as children and adults of all ages hit the sands to get their hearts pumping for at least 30 minutes, as part of the challenge.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, initially launched the initiative back in 2017, encouraging participants to do at least half-an-hour of exercise every day for 30 consecutive days.

In the past three years, the event has gone from strength the strength, with more and more venues across Dubai joining in. Yoga studios, gyms and even restaurants and corporate teams now take part, offering classes, events and deals to everyone involved.

Recurring activities, one-off events, workshops, and health and wellness programmes are taking place across the city throughout October and November, with more than 40 citywide events and 4,000-plus classes and activities to choose from.

In order to take part, download the dedicated Dubai Fitness App to see what's on when and where, and track your progress over the 30 days. You can monitor your workouts, sync it with other top fitness apps and generally join the fitness community that's forever growing in Dubai. You can download this for free on the App Store and Google Play.
