She may not be joining her fellow Spice Girls for their sold-out reunion tour, but Victoria Beckham has big plans of her own.

The fashion designer has announced she plans to launch her own YouTube channel, where she will be posting beauty dos and don'ts, and general life updates.

Beckham, who seems to be working hard to change her stand-offish image, took to Instagram to share the news with her followers, saying: “Today I have special news to share. I will be launching my own @youtube channel with beauty tutorials, styling tips and lots of stuff from me. Stay tuned! x Subscribe to my channel at the link in bio today x Kisses VB”

In her first upload, entitled “Victoria Beckham’s Exclusive YouTube Announcement”, she talks about celebrating 10 years of her fashion label and returning home to London.

“I feel that this is a new chapter right now,” she says. “Coming back to London, celebrating the birthday, new CEO, new investment. I really feel that now I can put my foot on the gas and do everything that I have wanted to do for a long, long time.

“I pinch myself every day. I feel so lucky to be doing what I do and there’s so much more I want to do,” she adds.

On launching the YouTube channel, she says: “I am really, really excited to be able to reach out to my customer, get to know him and her better. There will be lots of exciting stuff, and fun, by the way.”

The channel is proving a hit with fans, with 23,000 people signed up already. And for those who can't wait for a new upload, the channel features a backlog of beauty tips and catwalk shows.

It was revealed earlier in November that the rest of the Spice Girls would be embarking on a reunion tour around the UK. After the announcement was made, Beckham took to Instagram to confirm she would not be part of the reunion with a publicity picture of the four remaining Spice Girls.

Mel B said there would also be a world tour to follow and added that she hoped Posh Spice would change her mind.

"It's just the four of us. I hope Victoria will join us at some point," she said before the official announcement. "It'd be a shame if she didn't."
